instructor
instructors are the people who run luminous acres. they are both teachers and riders. instructors may be limited to just riding lectures or demonstrations, or they may offer classroom time as well. it all depends on their specialty. they are paid quite well by the university and live on campus. minimum age for instruction is twenty-two years old. most instructors have gone to school themselves for equine management, riding, or something of the sort.
student
pretty self explanatory...students are, well, students. they attend luminous acres university in hopes of one day becoming a part of the horse industry. students at luminous acres are at a collegiate level so they can be no younger than 18 years of age. freshmen are required to live on campus and are not allowed to board their personal horses at the school...so as to get them used to riding the school horses. aside from riding, students are expected to have a gpa of 3.0 or higher, or risk being kicked out of the program.
citizen
citizens are those who live in or around the town of cascade. many have an equestrian background because of the nature of the town, but some do not. these are your everyday average joes who enjoy their lives where they are.
wanderer
wanderers are any of those who don't fit any of the above categories. these may be cowboys/girls with a traveling rodeo, someone from out of town, or someone in town for a competition. no matter the reason, these are the people who don't call cascade home.
